Under the Vice Chairman of the National People’s Congress Financial and Economic Committee Wu Xiaoling's will to aid ARDY with their goals, Vice Chairman Wu along with Presidents Jiang and Ming came to ARDY to discuss the rural finance issue. Secretary General Gao Xiangjun and the heads of the various departments participated in the meeting on the morning of May 12.
The meeting was held in the conference room located on the second floor. Secretary General Gao gave a comprehensive account of the method, regulations, and future plans of rural finance to help the poor. After listening to the introduction, President Jiang believed that ARDY has done a very good job and that there is an opportunity for future cooperation between the Agricultural Bank and ARDY. At the same time, he emphasized that poverty alleviation is the society’s responsibility so the bank valued this issue and wished that this issue could be solved in the shortest amount of time. He will most definitely uphold Vice Chairman Wu’s and the banks’ will, fully supporting ARDY and microcredit for the poor.
